Q: Know about a 2007 Saturn Aura?
I'm looking at purchasing a 2007 Saturn Aura and was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with one? Just wondering if you could give me your thoughts! It needs to be safe and reliable..we have an 8 month old daughter and I'd like to buy a car that would last us awhile. Also..I'm a little concerned about the price...they are asking for 22K. It has 6505 miles on it.
I'm looking for a few more opinions...help if you can!!!!
A: I love that car. It is really, really excellent and first class, a beauty, safe and reliable. The price is way off, should be 16. Look for another, autotrader.com
I researched it but allowed my daughter to buy a similar, but different, Pontiac, one of our Pontiacs, G6 GT.
Everytime I see the Aura, as I go out for walks and view them closely, I fall in love. I think I'll buy one.
Q: Has anyone bought a 2007 Saturn Aura? Is it worth buying?
2007 Saturn Aura XE
A: Hell ya its worth buying u dont even hear the engine on mine
Q: What the song on the comercial for the 2007 Saturn Aura?
It is also the same song used on the Fox radio show w/ Steve Czabin, First Team on Fox, which is used when they play the segment "This might be a dumb question..."
A: Is it the one where it goes....mana mana. doo doo di doo doo.
If that's it, the Muppets did it on Sesame Street, and here's a link to the Wikipedia article about the song, and its composer.

Q: Where can I find print ads for the Saturn Aura 2007?
A: http://www.caranddriver.com/
Q: Which would be better for a family of 4 (2 kids) 2007 Saturn Aura or 2007 Toyota Camry?
A: Aura, by a longshot. Its the next big thing waiting to happen in the automotive world. Once the public finds out about these things they wont be able to keep them on the lot. In JD Powers ranking the Aura beats CAmry in almost all categories, and in customer (and professional) reviews its not even close. The Saturn is also an rebadged Opel, giving it European looks and feel. Cars.com has great reviews by consumers and pros. The CAmry has already had a recall, while the Aura is clean of problems. Toyotas recent past should give you some clues, and its not what you think. Last year Toyota had the most recalls, but the media "failed" to notice since millions would stand against them because of thier reputation. These days reputation is nothing, technology advances so fast it cant keep up. For ex: three years ago GM was one of the worst companies, now they have the most top-rated vehicles, and the quality/reliability surpasses Toyota. Honda is still on top of the reliability ratings. Ford also had more recalls than GM and DaimlerChrysler combined, for reasons like exploding engines and wheels falling off. Here is a quote from the Washington Posts review of the Toyota CAmry "one of which is the Chevrolet Malibu, which in my real-world driving experience has been every bit as good and reliable as the much-ballyhooed Camry but has been maligned primarily because it is a Chevrolet". Oddly enough that was an '04 Malibu VS the totally redisigned '07 Camry. Common problems with Toyotas are plastic rattling until it falls off. People then complain that when they take it to the dealer to be fixed they just say "The cars are made with so much plastic its practically impossible to fix" GM is also the worlds fastest growing manufacturer, and that dosent happen by accident. Test drive them both and see which is best, I guarantee you will pick the Aura.
Q: 2007 Pontiac G6 or Saturn Aura?
I've been looking at these two cars, which would be a better car overall?
A: Well, Saturn is probably a wee more reliable and gets better gas mileage and probably gets better insurance. The G6 is sportier and handles better than an Aura. I would choos the G6 because it's still pretty reliable and still gets pretty good gas mileage, but is more high performance than an Aura.http://www.pontiac.com/g6sedan/index.jsp http://www.saturn.com/saturn/vehicles/aura/overview.jsp?seo=goo_saturnaura
Q: What do you guys think about the new 08' Saturn Aura?? (See Pic)?
http://cache.jalopnik.com/cars/assets/resources/2007/03/Saturn-Aura.jpg
I kinda like it, I was thinking about buying one, what do you think??
A: They are really nice cars, Saturn has came up from cheap looking generic cars to more of a luxury type...These cars are just as nice as any honda or toyota, as long as you maintain the car it will last a long time regardless of the make.
Q: Has anyone bought a Saturn car (aura) 2006 or 2007? Are they worth the money?
A: NO.
They have very high customer satisfaction because their surveys ONLY ASK ABOUT SERVICE. They do not allow us to comment on the car itself. I had to write them to stop sending the surveys, that the service is GREAT but it should not have to be serviced so much....like lights going out, radio not working, you know, not the normal service, like oil changes.
I will NEVER buy another Saturn.
I am glad Loli reminded be of the rotors, they had to be replaced with the brakes, they wear exceptionally fast and the dealer says this is normal....
Q: Saturn/GM oil life monitor?
I have a 2007 Saturn Aura and it gives a percentage of oil life as opposed to an oil life light that says to get a change. Does anyone know at what percent you should get your oil changed?
A: the best thing for you do to is call your local saturn dealer and ask them , that way you dont voild your warranty
Q: Where on the internet can you find the value of a car that is too new to have a blue book entry?
My 2007 Saturn Aura was wrecked last week by no fault of my own. It is a new model and isn't in the Blue Book yet. How can I find an accurate estimate for the car?
A: try searching on msn autos or yahoo auto listings among MANY others to find cars in similar condition to yours and see what they are going for. it won't be exact but at least you'll have a ballpark to start in.
Q: Do I need premium gas with a V6 engine?
I have a 2007 Saturn Aura. It's a V6. I got it used in March of 2008. It had 11,000 miles on it. I've been using regular gas, but heard a comment randomly this morning on the radio and began wondering...does a V6 require premium gas? Should I be using that? Is it too late to switch now? Is regular gas going to slow down my car's performance?
A: this cars performance is pre-programmed in the computer. unless this car requires premium, stay with regular. if you start using premium and the car requires regular, all you are doing is throwing money away. this system will retard the timing, because it doesn't recognize the higher octane
Q: Give deposit by credit card or check/cash when ordering a car?
I want to buy a 2007 Saturn Aura XE, the dealer ask me to give him a deposit of $ 1000 to secure the car for me. Should I pay this deposit by credit card in the phone or give hime the check/cash directly? any other suggestions?
Thank you very much!
A: credit card is always best, you have more rights than if you give a check
also ask the dealer if the deposit is refundable, in California a dealer cannot take a non-refundable deposit but dealers dont always tell everyone that
you can check with your state dmv as well, lastly, check here to make sure you are getting a great price

Q: what do you think the best car for a 16 year old would be?
i personally have been looking into the Scion xA, VW Bug, or the toyota Yaris....what would be a nice safe vehicle....or should i take my parents offer of there 2007 saturn Aura?? it has a sunroof, nice system, and nice rims...someone please give me some advise
A: go with something used since teenagers are inexperienced and are the most prone to getting into an accident. don't go with something too old or too new, but something from around 2000 till around 2004 would be safe enough and inexpensive enough that you wouldn't mind as much if it would get some dings and dents.
Insist that a mechanic of your choice and that you trust take a look at it before you buy it to make sure you're not buying something that is junk that you will regret later on. if the seller refuses to let you, just walk out because it may mean that the car has problems and he/she just wants to get rid of it. safety of should be your number one priority.

For me:
Best Value: Saturn Aura, hands down. Car and Driver said its interior was on par with the Japanese competition, and was only second to the VW Passat. It costs thousands less than anything else when its comparably equipped, and its the North American Car of the Year.
Best overall: VW Passat. Its the nicest, but it costs thousands more than its competitors, and fully loaded is almost twice as much as the Saturn.
A: So? You just answered your own question. Why would you care what the rest of us think? If you want an unbiased, research-based answer, go to Consumer Reports and check out their ratings. The April Auto issue just came out.
