Q: Saturn Vue?
I have a 2003 Saturn Vue. When you press the excelerator it boggs down and sputters.Sometimes it backfires.Turn off the car while driving and restart; it takes right off again. I had it diagnoised and it came back electricak,but they can't find the problem. Please Help.

Q: How do you replace a lighter/outlet in a Saturn Vue?
I need to replace the lighter/power outlet in the front console of a 2006 Saturn Vue. I have the replacement part and it looks like it just might slide in and out to replace. Any advice would be helpful.
A: I am not that familiar with this particular vehicle but in most cases you have to remove the console to exchange the lighter
This is not that hard but it does take a little time. Look for seams on the console and pry up with light pressure if it does not pop right off then look for screws in the ashtray compartment and on the back of the console on the rear floor board

im looking into getting a used saturn vue and wanted opinions. i drove one today and it was a 4 cyl. and was slow picking up, but i guess that will happen with any 4 right? what are your thoughts?
A: the 2007 has a 3.6 liter v-6 that as plenty f pick-up and go. They are really good running cars and maintenance is easy........the new 2008 are totally new and have many new options worth looking at
Q: What kind of snow tires do you recommend for 06' saturn vue?
Hi, I just purchase an 06' saturn vue which came with 18" tires and chrome wheels. I'm looking for snow tires for this vue, I believe 16" tires would work from looking at other forums. I would like 18" snowtires so I could leave the chrome on but I think they might be too expensive.
If I buy the 16" do you have any recommendations and the only thing i'll need besides that is a wheel cover or am i missing something?

Q: Should I buy an extended warranty for my Saturn Vue?
I am purchasing a new 2008 Saturn Vue and I don't know if purchasing the extended warranty is worth it.
A: Rarely are extended warranties worth the money. If you're smart, save the money you would be paying for the extended warranty into a savings account instead, and use the money when repairs are needed.
GM has the 5 year/ 100K miles power train warranty, which typically would make an extended warranty almost a definite waste of money.

I was wondering if there are any repair manuals made for a 2003 saturn vue. I know that haynes and Chilton does not make any?
A: Yes it is kinda pricey. Go to helminc.com. The 4 volume set is $135 USD. This is a factory service manual. They also have tech bulletins and any other service info you may need.
Q: What do you think of a Saturn Vue?
I need to buy a safe car (just had a baby and it has already started snowing where I live!), but I don't want to pay too much for it. I found a 2003 Saturn Vue with 4wd and only 63,000 miles on it for $9400. Is this a good deal? I would appreciate any input from someone with car knowledge (something I very much lack) or any previous owners.
A: That's a fair price, if you are buying from a dealership. can get one for cheaper. I checked Kelley Blue book. Anyway my Mother-in-law has one and lately it has been giving her problems to the point where she is tired of getting it fixed so she is buying a new vehicle. Hers has about 70,000 miles on it.

Q: How hard is it to remove the backseat of my Saturn Vue?
I spilled a drink under the backseat of my Vue and I want to shampoo the carpets. Does anyone know is it a matter of just unbolting it or is it more complicated that that?
A: Not hard at all, sometimes they are a bit heavy, so be careful when you pull it out. It folds down, and then there should be a lever at the bottom wonce it folds to lift it, the front end of the seat (side towards the front of the car) has hooks so you kind of have to lift and pull back at the same time. But it is definitly a one person thing
