Did Saturn made its Vue 2.2L engine or bought them from Honda or the 3.3L from Honda?

A: The 3.5L (L66) is a Honda sourced V6 and 5 speed automatic transmission. It is the same 3.5 that is in the Pilot, MDX, Odyssey, Ridgeline, etc. making 250hp. The 2.2L (L61) is the Ecotec, a GM motor. The GreenLine is equipped with the 2.4L Ecotec (LE5).

Q: 2007 Saturn Vue owners, anyone think it is uncomfortable to drive if you are 6'2 or taller?
My husband is having trouble getting comfortable when driving our new Vue. His right leg/knee hurts from rubbing the console. Anyone have that problem? Any suggestions? I love it and don't want to get rid of it, but if he can't feel comfortable, we will have to find something else.

A: I don't know about the 07, I have an 05 Vue, my husband is 6'3" and LOVES the leg room in ours!!

A: Go to Kelly Blue Book to research vehicle. Vue has good safety rating and the 3.5 liter makes 250 HP. 2008 models look to have a better line-up of power train choices.

Q: Speakers in my new 2007 Saturn Vue?
I just bought a new Saturn Vue last night and I'm a little dissappointed in the sound quality. I have the upgraded radio with a 6 disc changer, XM radio, and MP3 audio jack. Everything works great and it's really convenient. However, the speakers don't have the clarity I was hoping for. The highs and lows aren't as crisp as I thought they would be. Would putting in after-market speakers help with the overall sound quality? I don't want to change anything with the head unit. I like the way it looks and functions. Any suggestions?

A: Certainly a speaker upgrade would improve performance. However, there is considerable work involved in installation of such speakers, since they are located in the doors and top of instrument panel. If you intend to do this yourself, insure that any new speakers chosen do not exceed the amperage output of your radio unit. If they do, you would also need to install an accessory amplifier to handle the power requirements. Head to BestBuy or similar for further advice and estimates.

A: Most of the newer vehicles with factory radios if anything is added, the computer will need to be flashed by the dealer but before you do that I would make sure that whatever you are adding is compatible.

We bought one last july and have had nothing but problems. hybrid batt replaced twice electricaal stuff and electrical harnass and then the other day the car stopped working all together and the regular batt died only 14 months old. cost 140 out of pocket even though i said nothing was left on to drain it. just wondering if others have similar experience. and it doesnt get close to the supposed 35 mpg

A: Well I don't have a 2007 Saturn Vue. They do look pretty nice in red. But anyway I wouldn't trust an GM cars. That just my opinion. If you want quality, dependability, and style I would recommend a 2008 Toyota Camry. Not to mention it is also a hybrid It also gets great gas mileage.21 city 31hwy

Q: saturn vue 2007 trailer hitch?
I need to pull a trailer, but I don't see a trailer hitch ball. is there a hidden trailer hitch? or did it just not come with one factory installed? I need to know soon and I cant find any answers on the websites I am moving on sunday. help?

A: i'm guessing but you may need a tow bar then attach the right hitch to your trailer. good luck!

i'm considering buying one and want to know other's experiences with this automobile...

A: Actually, I bought a Saturn Aura in October after looking at the Vue Hybrid and I'll tell you why I went with the Aura. The Vue Hybrid is considered a "Light" hybrid. Meaning when you idle is when the car turns to the fuel cell. So your air goes dead at a traffic light and so on. You don't save that much on fuel with that type of a hybrid. I live in Alabama, so with long traffic lights at 100+ degrees outside, I went with the Aura and I love it!

Q: Is The 2007 Saturn Vue A Smart Buy?
Is the Awd or the Fwd much of a difference?

A: The 6Cly AWD is the way to go. If you don't have the cash for the 6Cly, then go with the 4Cly AWD. It's a well built, value packed vehicle. It would be hard to go wrong.
